The carcass construction and tread design of the Avanza AV10 are an ideal compromise between the need to carry modestly heavy loads, prolong the life of a tyre and help light vans handle well. Toughened sidewalls with a hard-wearing rubber compound are designed to take the knocks and scrapes on contact with kerbs, while some fitments have high load indices to cope with substantial cargo. The tread pattern is designed to swiftly disperse water from beneath the contact patch, as well as help to reduce noise levels and, in combination with the carcass design, provide good straight-line stability motorways.
