These tyres do the job well. Stick to the road stop me skyting about all oer the road and have managed well in cold weather. First two burst very easily on pit holes but tyre insurance was a good buy as replacements were sorted fairly quickly over Christmas period. Car off road for about a week but that’s was ok at time of year.

They are a very good tyre, providing confidence in wet and dry conditions. They have made the driving experience much better.

They haven't let me down so far! I wanted these tyres to feel safer in wintry conditions, especially snow and ice. Thankfully, I haven't had to test them in bad conditions, but I feel a lot more secure knowing that they'd be better able to handle wintry conditions than my standard summer tyres. I bought these for peace of mind and that's what they gave me.

I will compare Continental All season with their main competitor, Michellin CrossClimate (1st and 2nd model). Why I didn't like Michelin: - start tread was lower that other tyres, about 7mm - they were noisy on wet - worn quite quick, rubber cracks Why I liked them: - great handling on dry, wet and snow/cold. - great handling on motoways Why I wanted Continental? Mostly to check if it's better than Michellin, as both have very high scores. What I can say about Continental vs Michellin (both all season) - Michelin is better on wet - Continental is better on snow/cold - Michelle handles better on motorways - Continental has similar noise level on different surface - Continental comes with full 8mm tread Overall, I would buy Michellin again rather than Continental, or most likely try the 3rd one, i.e., Vredestein, Uniroyal, or Hankook.

Good grip and performance in wet but balancing and vibration issues from the start, shocking for Continental brand

I have tested them in snow at French Alps and they perform good. If you don’t drive on ICE or very cold (-20 ) they are sufficient . I don’t need to snow chains

Good overall performance, great wet grip. Slightly more noise than previous tyres but completely different tread pattern may be the reason

These tyres have transformed this car. When I bought the car I was so disappointed with the vague wallowy handling compared to my previous X3. I just assumed it had been designed with th US market in mind. The previous Pirelli summer tyres were fitted from new and should never have even been entertained for this type of car. They were awful. I had even programmed the sport button to tighten up the handling and steering when driving on roads with anything resembling a bend. I’m told it is all to do with lowest friction possible which is why they fit such unsuitable tyres from new. Anyway I cannot recommend the Contact 2’s enough. Great in the wet, great in the snow, great in the cold and best of all very quiet. Well done Continental. BMW should fit these as standard. After all why put summer tyres on an all season car.? Oh yes - see above.

Had these tyres for around 1000 miles, seems quiet and grip is good (haven't tested them to the limit yet) but no signs of break away. Fuel economy doesn't seem the have changed.

Great in the snow and ice. Dry and wet c good too. Only downside is, since switching from continental contact 2 the mpg has drop around 4 to 5 miles per gallon.
