Product description & features
The Continental Conti Hybrid 19.5 has been designed with a steel axle for regional haul applications.
It has been developed with a two-layer tread construction to ensure increased mileage performance whilst considerably improving rolling resistance.
The Conti Hybrid 19.5 features an original ‘plus volume pattern’ tread that has been created with multiple narrow grooves in order to improve wear resistance, which contributes to an improvement in mileage potential and a reduction in fuel consumption.
What are summer tyres?
Summer tyres are specifically designed for warm weather conditions, particularly during the summer season. This type of tyre performs best when in seasons with warmer temperatures - above 7°C.
How does a summer tyre perform better in summer?
The technologies and tread patterns used in a summer tyre mean the tyres have high-quality features that are of benefit to driving in warm conditions. They typically use a softer rubber compound – designed for good grip and traction when driving on dry and wet roads.
How can I tell if a summer tyre is suitable for winter weather?
The tyre features the EU sanctioned 3PMSF marking - Three Peak Mountain Snowflake:
This accolade was introduced to be an easily recognisable symbol which displays that the tyre has passed standardised, controlled, and, rigorous tests. It confirms the winter suitability of a tyre. Not all summer tyres have this accolade.
