Product description & features

The Dunlop Sport Maxx RT 2 has been developed to deliver enhanced corner grip, combined with shorter braking distances and noticeable steering precision.

The tyre features an asymmetric tread design to improve handling and ensure high levels of aquaplaning resistance. The tyre's tread pattern also features a continuous central rib throughout the tyre. This works to increase reliability, especially on long journeys.

Dunlop have worked hard on the tread design to ensure that the Sport Maxx RT 2 boasts a flatter profile - this creates a bigger contact with the road surface, delivering stability and responsive road feedback.

Sport Maxx RT 2 tyres are available in 17 inch, 18 inch, 19 inch, and 20 inch rim tyre sizes.

Previously had Dunlop SP sport on the car. The Sport Maax RT 2 are definitely quieter and a very smooth ride. Previous Dunlop sp sport were rated fuel economy G. The new tyres are rated at B. All I can say after driving approx 600 miles I've noticed no difference in mpg what so ever. Personally I will ignore economy ratings in the future when choosing tyres as the rating doesn't reflect real driving. Overall I am pleased with the purchase. If I can get decent mileage over the life of the tyre I would buy again due to the ride quality.
