The Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 5 is a high performance car tyre, developed to deliver a smooth, exacting performance with superior braking in wet conditions.

Goodyear have constructed the Eagle F1 Asymmetric 5 with a highly refined silica compound - this enhances the grip of the tyre, resulting in short braking distance on both wet and dry roads.

The tyre's asymmetric tread pattern, coupled with the stiff carcass results in responsive, sporty handling - particularly on dry road surfaces.

Eagle F1 Asymmetric 5 tyres are available in 17 inch, 18 inch, 19 inch, 20 inch, 21 inch and 22 inch rim tyre sizes.

The tyres have fantastic wet and dry grip, even on a large heavy car like an Audi A4 Allroad, but they are worn down to under the legal limit on the edges in less than 10,000 miles. They also have a very soft sidewall which affects grip, feeling, and stability when pushing hard on rural roads, bends and roundabouts. For the money you are paying for this tyre, it should last much longer. Why not make tyres with more tread on the edges where they wear the most to ensure good value for the money paid ??

Tyres have been nothing but bother since fitting them. One was exchanged after constant vibrations identified a fault in the tyre. Both tyres still vibrating after numerous visits to check balancing. Eventually moved to the rear of the car where they will still cause a slight vibration but much less likely to cause me issues being on the back. Very disappointed with the Goodyear tyres and I'll be purchasing different tyres moving forward.
