Product description & features
The Goodyear Vector 4Seasons is an all season tyre, designed to tackle road conditions in a variety of weather conditions. It is the original tyre in the Vector 4 Seasons range. The latest version of this tyre is the Goodyear Vector 4Seasons Gen-3
The Vector 4Seasons is marked with the snowflake symbol showing it meets official winter tyre standards.
It also features a directional tread design in order to reduce the chance of aquaplaning in wet weather. However, the tyre also delivers a reliable performance in dry conditions thanks to stiff tread blocks providing further stability when steering and cornering.
Goodyear Vector 4Seasons tyres are available in 14 inch, 15 inch, 16 inch and 17 inch rim tyre sizes.
Goodyear have constructed the Vector 4Seasons with an all-weather compound, allowing the tyre to maintain grip in cold weather. The compound, combined with the tyre's flat contour tread pattern, delivers a low rolling resistance for increased mileage – resulting in this tyre being more environmentally friendly.
Designed with high-density 3D waffle blades, the Vector 4Seasons offers exceptional traction on snow and icy conditions.
The Vector 4Seasons is currently manufactured in 2 variants of tyre:
Please note: before you select your tyres, ensure that the tyre size that you intend to order are the correct variant and matches your vehicle type.
What is an all season tyre
Designed to cope with all sorts of conditions – with a good performance delivered throughout the year. A moderate natural rubber content is used to stop the tyre hardening in temperatures below 7 degrees.
How can I tell an all season tyre performs in winter weather?
This tyre features the EU sanctioned 3PMSF marking - Three Peak Mountain Snowflake:
This accolade was introduced to be an easily recognisable symbol which displays that the tyre has passed standardised, controlled, and, rigorous tests. It confirms the winter suitability of a tyre.
Are all season tyres suitable for the UK?
Given that the UK suffers from milder and interchangeable winter conditions - with severe ice and snow becoming uncommon for much of the country - this makes all season tyres a very good choice for our roads. As they can cope with these conditions very well.
Do I need to swap my tyres throughout the year?
Given the nature of all season tyres, which can perform equally well in the summer and winter months, the need to replace tyres based on the season is not required.
We recommend that all season tyres should be fitted as a full set of 4.
