Product description & features
The Ventus S1 Evo 3 K127 is a premium high-performance tyre designed by Hankook to produce excellent handling in summer weathers.
It has been designed with interlocking grooves – to enhance traction, improve wet grip performance when cornering and reduce the chances of aquaplaning.
The Ventus S1 Evo 3 K127 has been designed with the ‘Highly Enriched Synthetic Silicia Compound’ to increase the strength of the tyre.
This is a new compound that has been created by Hankook and has been produced using ‘highly purified and quality silica’ which has been vulcanised in colder temperatures for twice as much time compared to regular tyres.
Hankook Ventus S1 Evo 3 tyres are available in 17 inch, 18 inch, 19 inch, 20 inch and 21 inch rim tyre sizes.
Featuring an interlocking tread, the Ventus S1 Evo 3, the tyre has a reduced risk of aquaplaning and enhanced wet grip. This also helps to boost the tyre's grip when cornering in wet conditions.
Hankook have developed teh Ventus S1 Evo 3 with their ProMileage technology. This ensures the tyre has maximum and optimised contact with the road surface, evenly distributing the forces put upon the tyre when accelerating and braking.
The Ventus S1 Evo 3 has been recognised in several tyre test awards. These include:
The Ventus S1 Evo 3 is currently manufactured in 2 variants of tyre:
Please note: before you select your tyres, ensure that the tyre size that you intend to order are the correct variant and matches your vehicle type.
What are summer tyres?
Summer tyres are specifically designed for warm weather conditions, particularly during the summer season. This type of tyre performs best when in seasons with warmer temperatures - above 7°C.
How does a summer tyre perform better in summer?
The technologies and tread patterns used in a summer tyre mean the tyres have high-quality features that are of benefit to driving in warm conditions. They typically use a softer rubber compound – designed for good grip and traction when driving on dry and wet roads.
Can you use summer tyres in winter?
Whilst summer tyres still offer adequate performances in wet and cooler conditions, it is recommended that you change. The tread design and technologies that are featured in summer tyres can harden in colder temperatures, resulting in reduced flexibility and decreased traction on snow and ice.
