Winter I'cept Evo 3 (Winter Tyre) Tyre Reviews

Very good, my winter tyres were tested on snow, rain and ice and performed perfectly without any negatives or scary moments.

My first review very likely praised these tyres for their winter grip and performance. That still stands. However by the end of that winter season (22-23) they had developed a vibration at motorway speeds that could not be balanced out. How do I know this is the tyres? I have two identical sets of Audi OEM 19" Speedline wheels and I swapped the tyres/wheels across both. The Continental SC7's remained perfectly balanced across both sets of wheels and the vibration followed the Hankook's onto the wheels previously dressed with the SC7's. To be sure I repeated this process using a completely different tyre company - same result: The Hankook's are faulty. I brought this to Black Circles but I have to say they were obstructive. No they didn't close the door on a return but they put the onus on me to get the tyres back to them with the caveat that they would need to "check them out" themselves. In other words do nothing then say they could find nothing wrong and charge me to send the tyres back and of course with the cost of getting them re-fitted and re-balanced. I've already spent £200+ on getting the tyres rotated around to rule out the wheels and provided receipts for this work and multiple photo's of the excellent condition that the tyres were in... So I guess this is as much a review of Black Circles (from whom I will never buy tyres again) as it is the tyres themselves.

Tyres are performing as it should perform a winter tyre in winter driving conditions. Have confidence in this tyres on icy or even deep snow. Had same tyres on my previous vehicle and we drove trough headlights deep snow and ice without having any regrets. On the German Autobahn at high speed the felt perfect.

The winter tyres I bought are very good,no problems on the road.
