Michelin have created the CrossClimate 2 to provide motorists with a safe drive no matter the weather.

With a directional tread pattern, the CrossClimate 2 quickly gets rid of water from the tyre providing exceptional grip in wet conditions. The tread pattern features 3-D sipeLock technology to enhance treadwear resistance and a distinctive V-formation pattern to spread out weight evenly throughout, extend the treadlife of the tyre as well as improving grip – in dry weathers all the way to the snowiest of days.

Michelin have designed this tyre with safety at the forefront with the Cross Climate 2 stopping up to 16 feet shorter than competitor tyres based on Michelin testing.

An excellent all rounder in UK weather. Four tyres are fitted on a rear wheel drive car. Strong grip and handling in rain, in freezing/frosty temperature as well as in moderate summer temperatures on different road conditions - motorway, urban and rural tarmacs. Have not tested in the snow yet.

The tyres exceeded my performance expectation. I have driven the car in snow and heavy rain and the tyres gave me total confidence in these driving conditions. This set are still pretty new but I have been using these tyres for some years. The advantage is most apparent in cold conditions and you would need to drive like a complete tool to feel any loss of grip on the road in comparison to performance rubber. The greatest advantage may be their longevity. I get 3000 to 4000 extra miles out of these, which offsets the extra cost over so so summer rubber.
