Product description & features
The Scorpion Zero All Season NCS has been designed by Pirelli to deliver outstanding performance for premium SUV vehicles.
Featuring an optimised asymmetric tread pattern that incorporates numerous sipes and grooves of various sizes and patterns, the Scorpion Zero All Season NCS delivers outstanding grip in snowy conditions. It also has a lower risk of aquaplaning thanks to the four circumferential groves within the tread pattern allowing water to be quickly removed from the tyre.
It features Pirelli specially designed Noise Cancelling System (NCS) technology – which aims to decrease noise through a sound absorbing device that has been applied to the inside wall of the tyre. This new technology substantially reduce noise of the Scorpion Zero All Season NCS, creating a more comfortable ride.
What is an all season tyre
All season tyres have been developed to deliver a reliable performance throughout the year. These tyres tend to use more natural rubber content than summer tyres to allow the tyre to maintain grip in cold weather.
Are all season tyres suitable for the UK?
The UK is subject to moderate and interchangeable winter conditions. As such these tyres can be a good choice for the roads - as they have been designed to cope with these more moderate conditions.
However, please note that they do not have the EU sanctioned 3PMSF marking to indicate a recognised accolade for use on snow and ice. They may show M+S (Mud & Snow) on the sidewall. This a self-certification from the manufacturer. It has not been subjected to the same testing as a tyre carrying the 3PMSF symbol.
Do I need to swap my tyres throughout the year?
Given the nature of all season tyres, which can perform equally well in the summer and winter months, the need to replace tyres based on the season is not required.
We recommend that all season tyres should be fitted as a full set of 4.
