RainSport 5 tyres are available in 15 inch, 16 inch, 17 inch, 18 inch, 19 inch, 20 inch, and 21 inch rim tyre sizes.

Quality Wet Grip Performance

The RainSport 5 boasts the latest wet tyre technology with wide ‘Shark Skin’ grooves cutting through the tread blocks, quickly clearing water from the tyre - guarding against aquaplaning.

Meanwhile, pioneering ‘Aqua-Twist’ sipes enhance water dispersion further, giving this tyre exceptional grip on dangerously slippery roads.

In wet conditions these are hands down the best tyres you can use, you can hit a puddle at motorway speeds and won't even notice it, in dry and cold conditions they are pretty average, I've also found the rear of my car can feel unsettled easily on spirited drives.

Dry grip is similar to Michelin Pilotsports. Turn in doesn't feel quite as sharp but the wet weather grip is a fantastic trade off. 1st and 2nd gear I had no traction in the damp on the Michelins, now I do on the rainsports. The loss in dry performance to "premium" tyres is negligible compared to what you gain in the wet. There is no perfect tyre. It is down to what you want from a tyre and I wanted more wet grip.
