How To Reset Tyre Pressure Sensors

Resetting your tyre pressure sensors is pretty straightforward. Here’s how:

1. Inflate Your Tyres: Make sure all your tyres are inflated to the recommended pressure. You can find this in your vehicle's handbook or on the tyre placard on your door.

2. Turn on the Ignition: Switch on your car. Don’t start the engine.

3. Find the TPMS Reset Button: This button is usually under the steering wheel or within your car’s settings on the entertainment/navigation system.

4. Reset the System: If your car has a TPMS button, press and hold it until the system resets. If it’s through the onboard computer, follow the on-screen instructions.

5. Wait for the Light to Turn Off: After a few seconds, the TPMS light should turn off.

These steps can vary by vehicle make and model. If you’re not sure, check your vehicle handbook or contact the manufacturer for guidance.
