And this month they have launched their new flagship tyre - Bridgestone Turanza 6.

Designed with cutting-edge technologies, the Turanza 6 delivers a best-in-class wet performance that is unmatched by its competitors.

Independent tests conducted by TÜV SÜD in 2022 have shown that the Turanza 6 outperformed other tyres in the test for wet grip, cornering, and straight-line testing.

But safety isn't the only focus of the Turanza 6. Bridgestone has also made efforts to improve the tyre's fuel and energy efficiency.

The new tyre boasts a 4% reduction in rolling resistance versus its predecessor, the Turanza T005.

Plus, it offers a best-in-class EU label A-grade in rolling resistance in selected sizes across the catalogue range.

Engineered to be EV-ready

The Turanza 6 is also engineered to be EV-ready, making it perfectly suited for hybrid and electric vehicles.

The tyre features Bridgestone's latest technologies, including ENLITEN Technology, which optimises the performance of EVs by offering low rolling resistance to save battery life.

Plus, the Turanza 6 delivers a reduction of 2db in pass-by noise versus its predecessor, making it quieter and more comfortable for EV drivers.

But what sets the Turanza 6 apart from its predecessors and competitors is its sustainability. As a sustainable solutions company, Bridgestone is constantly evolving its R&D process to become more efficient and eco-friendly.

This enables a digital version of an in-development tyre to be created and tested. Allowing Bridgestone to predict how a tyre will perform in different conditions before physically building prototypes.
