This January we saw the launch of the Michelin Primacy 4+ summer tyre.
The latest member of the
Michelin Primacy range follows on from the popular
Primacy 4 and has been developed for
sedans and SUVs - with everyday journeys and long family trips at the cornerstone of its performance.
Michelin have designed the Primacy 4+ to deliver a better braking performance on wet ground when worn, something which will provide motorists with greater safety from the first mile to the last.
The use of Michelin’s EverGrip technology within the construction of the tyre, which is two layers of rubber that are offset to lessen the impact of reduced tread depth, means the Primacy 4+ is able to evacuate water effectively when worn.
The latest generation of Michelin
summer car tyres, such as the new Primacy 4+, bolster Michelin’s products that are designed to meet the specific needs of users in different categories of vehicles.
They also continue Michelin’s goal of achieving high performing
tyres over the long term – creating tyres that can be used for longer and thus aid in helping to reduce the environmental impact tyres have on the planet.
At launch, the Primacy 4+
will be offered in 82 sizes, ranging from a rim size of 16-19 inches. Michelin’s goal is to then have the availability reaching 121 sizes from 16 to 21 inches by the end of 2022.
