New: Bridgestone Potenza Race Launched

Bridgestone recently announced the launch of the ultra-high performance Potenza Race.

Developed to meet the individual needs of track enthusiasts, the Potenza Race is a semi-slick tyre with performance focussed for track days.

The Potenza Race becomes the latest addition in the formidable Potenza range – produced from a direct result of the long history in motorsports that Bridgestone has amassed over the years.

The now iconic Potenza range grew from the experience Bridgestone’s gained when supplying tyres to Formula One racing between 1997 and 2010.

Already, the new Potenza Race has been tested against competitors in the 2022 Auto Bild sportscars track day tyre test – outperforming its competitors and claiming victory.

In the Auto Build tests, the judges highlighted the following:

“Almost perfect handling characteristics, performance that is close to the level of a slick tyre, precise steering, the ability to generate high levels of lateral forces, wide limits and endurance”.

The Bridgestone Potenza Race features a highly innovative tyre tread pattern – alongside cutting-edge construction and material compounds to deliver a top performance.

Developed and manufactured in Europe, the new Bridgestone Potenza Race will be available in 13 popular car tyres sizes – ranging from 17-20 inches. Suited for the hot hatchbacks and sportscars commonly used on track days.
