Product description & features

Pirelli developed the Cinturato P7 to deliver a high performance, whilst reducing rolling resistance and providing motorists with excellent mileage.

Pirelli have designed the Cinturato P7's tread pattern with four wide longitudinal grooves - this helps to significantly reduce the risk of aquaplaning, by removing surface water away from the path of the tyre, quickly and efficiently.

The tyre's compact central blocks deliver a responsive handling performance - whilst also allowing the tyre to remain stable when cornering.

A long life and even wear rate has been achieved on the Pirelli Cinturato, thanks to an innovative tread compound.

Ill compare these to the runflat version of the original P7 I had for about 5 years. Currently had the non runflat C2's fitted for a couple of months. Noise P7: ** P7C2:***** Comfort P7: * P7C2: ***** Fuel Efficiency P7 : ** P7C2: **** Stability at high speeds P7: ** P7C2: **** Dry Handling: P7 ***** P7C2: **** Dry Braking : P7 ***** P7C2: **** Wet HAndling : P7 ***** P7C2 **** Wet Braking : P7 ***** P7C2 **** Pirelli seemed to have taken a good look at the previous P7's faults and addressed these majorly by only sacrificing minor performance traits . These tyres are so quiet and comfortable, the P7's gave me 4-4.5 weeks of fuel , the C2's 5 weeks or just over, and the continental eco contacts 5-5.5 weeks. ( I drive very fuel efficiently). Interesting to note the continental are A rated and the C2 is C rated for fuel economy, does make me wonder how accurate these labels are. Performance overall is still close to the originals but personally I prefer the substantial improvement in low noise , comfort and fuel economy of the C2 In conclusion the tyres perform well in every category without having any weaknesses.

When first fitted I found the improvement in road noise reduction was minimal and was disappointed.
