Abarth is an Italian automotive manufacturer founded by Carlo Abarth in 1949. Since the sale of Abarth to Fiat in 1971, Abarth have been known to be a subsidiary brand of car manufacturing company Fiat Chrysler Automobiles.
In 2007, Abarth returned as an independent brand, the first time Abarth vehicles were produced since the brand's cars were discounted by Fiat in 1984. Since then, Abarth has adopted sportier versions of Fiat vehicles, such as the Abarth 500 and 500e, that offer a more performance-orientated cars compared to the original Fiat models. Abarth's model line-up also consist of the 595, 695, and the 124 Spider.
