Ora were founded in 2017 and have since entered the UK market in 2022. The first model that was introduced to UK customers is the Funky Cat, an all-electric hatchback first introduced globally back in 2021. The company gained recognition for their work with EVs, with their Ora Funky Cat being named 'Best Urban Electric Car' at the 2023 DrivingElectric awards.
