Product description & features
The Falken Ziex ZE310 Ecorun is a car tyre, that uses 4D-Nano design technology to improve wear life. It also offers up to 5% savings in fuel consumption compared to conventional tyre models.
The Ziex ZE310 Ecorun interior is lined with an innovative polyurethane foam layer to reduce drive-by noise by up to 10 decibels.
The Falken Ziex ZE310 Ecorun tyres are available in 14 inch, 15 inch, 16 inch, 17 inch, 18 inch and 19 inch rim tyre sizes.
The tread pattern is designed with intelligent Adaptive Constant Pressure technology to maximise the contact area and provide high directional stability and grip on wet and dry road surfaces.
Meanwhile, the high-performance longitudinal grooves improve water dispersion and reduce the risk of aquaplaning.
Depending on the size of the tyre, the Falken Ziex ZE310 features a 3-groove design on 195mm and smaller tyres and a 4-groove design on 205mm and larger tyres.
In both instances the tyre has a enhanced profile stiffness, alongside a greater footprint. This means the tyre delivers increased levels of traction when it matters most, for excellent steering response.
Since its initial launch in 2017 the Ziex ZE310 Ecorun has been recognised in the following:
The Ziex ZE310 Ecorun is currently manufactured in 2 variants of tyre:
Please note: before you select your tyres, ensure that the tyre size that you intend to order are the correct variant and matches your vehicle type.
What are summer tyres?
Summer tyres are specifically designed for warm weather conditions, particularly during the summer season. This type of tyre performs best when in seasons with warmer temperatures - above 7°C.
How does a summer tyre perform better in summer?
The technologies and tread patterns used in a summer tyre mean the tyres have high-quality features that are of benefit to driving in warm conditions. They typically use a softer rubber compound – designed for good grip and traction when driving on dry and wet roads.
Can you use summer tyres in winter?
Whilst summer tyres still offer adequate performances in wet and cooler conditions, it is recommended that you change. The tread design and technologies that are featured in summer tyres can harden in colder temperatures, resulting in reduced flexibility and decreased traction on snow and ice.
