The Hankook I'cept Evo 2 W20 is a winter tyre that features an optimised tread pattern which has been design to deliver effective traction on snow and greatly improve the gripping priorities of the tyre.
Hankook have designed the I'cept Evo 2 with a compound that consists of a high proportion of silica, this remains flexible in freezing conditions - reducing the risk of the tyre losing grip. The tyre also contains a wide steel belt layer that works to ensure tread consistency, improving the handling capabilities of the tyre.

Can I use winter tyres all year round?
Although winter tyres can be used in other conditions, their performance will not be as efficient as they have been optimised to perform in temperatures under 7°C.
There is also a risk of a winter tyre’s wear rates increasing when drive on in warm temperatures, due to the high silica and natural rubber compound.
