Fortunately the brakes on the bug are poor so they can easily keep up with those! Also I am not brave enough to test them in the corners since I have no seat belts (separates the men from the boys that). They look great, nice and chunky like the original large profile tyres

I've not done many miles on them to be able to comment accurately but for the driving I have done they are great tyres. Most important for me was to get authentic period tyres for the car. The Michelin XZX 145/70 R12 S is a 1979 specified tyre for the car.
