- 3 Layer Compound. The use of their 3 Layer Compound technology within the constriction of the tyre ensures better grip and shock absorption in various riding conditions.
- Mono Spiral (MS) Belt. Designed with lightweight and durable cords, which wrap around the circumference of the tyre. Contributing to a higher performance and grip improvement.
- Nanopro-Tech. Bridgestone's NanoPro-Tech works to enhance the performance of a tyre on a molecular level. Reducing friction and heat build-up.
Michelin Road 5 Overview
The Michelin Road 5 is a high-performance sport-touring motorcycle tyre designed to offer exceptional grip in both wet and dry conditions.
It provides superior wet-weather performance and improved longevity compared to its predecessors. The tyre is known for maintaining consistent handling as it wears, making it ideal for riders seeking reliability, comfort, and versatility.

- Radial ACT+ Technology. A single ply at around 90° that sits within tyre’s. This works to reduce rigidity in the crown zone – whilst also helping to boost stability when leaning.
- Water Evergrip Technology. A tread pattern that changes depending on the conditions – able to deliver exceptional wet grip. As the tyre wears across it’s lifespan, the performance is consistent.
