S22 Overview

The Bridgestone Battlax S22 is a premium motorcycle tyre released by Bridgestone back in 2019.

The S22’s front tyre consists of an advanced 3-layer compound. The hardened centre and soft shoulders of the tread compound technology enhances the tyre’s stability around corners as well as its linear handling.

Bridgestone’s Mono Spiral (MS) Belt is developed on the model, giving the S22’s improved grip, high speed performance and further weight reduction.

Longevity of the tyre is also furthered through Bridgestone’s NanoPro-Tech. This technology gives reduces the tyre’s friction, heat and tread deformation, therefore helping the S22 with its durability.

The Battlax S22 replaced the Bridgestone Battlax S21 upon its release in 2019.

Road 5 Overview

The Road 5 is also a premium motorcycle tyre that Michelin has produced since 2018.

The Michelin tyre features an advanced tread compound with 100% Silica Technology, enhancing wet grip traction by 15% over its predecessor.

Additionally, Michelin’s innovative compound extends the tyre’s longevity by 10%. Equipped with Michelin’s 2CT+ Technology on both front and rear tyres, the Road 5 improves cornering performance under strong acceleration and heavy braking.

Furthermore, the Road 5 boasts a new tread pattern for better handling and stability, and its optimized design ensures excellent performance across various road conditions, making it a versatile choice for riders.

The Road 5 replaced its predecessor, the Pilot Road 4, back in 2018.
