Exotic supercars and celebrities drew huge crowds as they roared through Edinburgh's iconic George Street for the first of seven flag drops across Europe.
The 24th annual charity rally kicked off with the world’s most exclusive performance machines rolling into the capital early on Saturday morning.
Over the course of an unusually sunny weekend, Edinburgh locals were treated to a display which included the Bugatti Chiron, Zenvo TSR-S, Ferrari SF90, Jaguar XJ220 and over 100 other lavish motors.

It wasn’t just the cars which caused a stir either. The mix of celebrities driving ranged from Youtube legend Shmee150, to grime star Dizzee Rascal.
But what was all this in aid of? Founded in 1999 by British entrepreneur Maximillion Cooper and his Grammy-winning wife Eve, the Gumball 3000 foundation was established to benefit the underprivileged youth in the UK.
Charging teams over £50,000 to enter, the Gumball has grown massively in popularity since its inception – spawning numerous documentaries, video games and even feature films.
Over the next 6 days, the glamorous parade will cover 3000 miles as it blasts through London, Amsterdam, The Alps, Venice and Budapest, before finally crossing the finish line in Porto Montenegro.
Don’t worry if you didn’t manage to make it to the Edinburgh leg though, our photographers captured the highlights for you…
