There wasn’t a lot of choice of tyre for my grey import van as it has small wheels. The only tyres available where for summer, I wanted all season but I would have had to buy from overseas and consequently pay a lot more, including all the extra costs thanks to us no longer being in the EU. The tyres I purchased had the best reviews and are okay. Driving in very wet conditions where there’s been surface water has caused the van to skid on a few occasions, but it’s been fine on the dry. We very often get snow and ice during the winter and it has no grip even in a few centimetres of snow, I always have to clear my drive. It’s been the same at the beginning of this year 2023 with my new tyres. Once I get going and on gritted roads it’s okay as long as I drive slowly with caution.
