Today I had the two front tyres replaced and the wheel alignment checked and adjusted. I arrived at the garage a few minutes before my appointment and the work was completed within the allotted time. The greeting at reception was friendly and I have no complaints about the service that I received.

Whilst the job appears to have been done effectively (I have to reserve judgement as time will truly tell), there is no sense of customer service, or even urgency. I was sat for close to two hours waiting for my tyres to be changed and no-one even spoke to me, let alone offered me a coffee, water, or similar. I recognise they work to a budget, but customer service costs nothing (maybe the cost of a coffee...)
