These Terms & Conditions are applicable to all Blackcircles.com ran competitions. Please view our Facebook, Instagram & X (formerly Twitter) pages to enter.
1. The competition will run from the moment it is published on Facebook, Instagram, and/or X until the date & time specified within the post.
2. The competition prize is as specified within the post.
3. To obtain an entry into the competition an entrant has multiple different ways – unless another entry method is specified within the post – these include liking, commenting, sharing or tagging in a friend or family member on the post.
4. The winner will be drawn after the competition ends and contacted publicly on the posts. On Instagram and X, the winner will be sent a direct message where possible.
5. Should Blackcircles.com be unable to make contact with a winner within 2 days or should a winner be unable to accept their prize, the Promoter reserves the right to award that prize to an alternative winner, drawn in accordance with these terms and conditions.
6. The prizes are subject to availability, non-transferable, and there are no cash alternatives.
7. Winners will be drawn from all social media entries (i.e. retweets and comments unless stated otherwise) at random.
8. The prize draw is open to residents of the UK excluding Northern Ireland, aged 18 years or over, except employees of Blackcircles.com, the prize sponsors, their families, agents or anyone else professionally associated with the draw.
9. It is a condition of entry that all rules are accepted as final and that the claimant agrees to abide by these rules.
10. The winners may be required to participate in reasonable publicity on behalf of Blackcircles.com.
11. Events may occur that render the prize draw itself or the awarding of the prize impossible due to reasons beyond the control of Blackcircles.com and accordingly Blackcircles.com may at its absolute discretion vary or amend the promotion and the entrant agrees that no liability shall attach to Blackcircles.com as a result thereof.
12. Blackcircles.com reserves the right to withdraw and competition/ promotion at any time.

1. Promoter
The promoter is Blackcircles.com Limited, a company incorporated under the Companies Acts with company number SC224310 (" BlackCircles.com"). Our registered office and principle place of business is at 1 Tanfield, Edinburgh, EH3 5DA. (“Blackcircles”, “we”, “us”, “our”).
2. Eligibility
2.1 This promotion is open to:
UK residents aged 18 years or over at the time of entry.
2.2 The following are not eligible to enter:
Employees of Blackcircles.com Ltd
Employees of any companies directly involved in the administration or promotion of this campaign
Immediate family members of the above
2.3 Internet access, a compatible device, and a valid email address are required.
2.4 No purchase is necessary to enter or win.
3. Promotion Period
3.1 The promotion opens on19/05/2026 and closes on 02/06/2026 (“Promotion Period”).
3.2 Entries received outside the Promotion Period will not be accepted.
4. How to Enter
4.1 To be eligible for entry into the competition, entrants must comment, including their own image from a recent road trip or day out you travelled to with your car, on the official Blackcircles.com Facebook post posted on 19th May 2026.
Winners will be drawn from all social media entries (i.e. retweets and comments unless stated otherwise) at random using Comment Picker.
5. Image Requirements
5.1 Submitted images must:
Be taken by or owned by the commenter
Include a recent road trip or day out destination
5.2 Images must not:
Contain offensive, defamatory, discriminatory, obscene, or unlawful material
Infringe the rights (including intellectual property or privacy rights) of any third party
Include children under the age of 18
Promote unsafe driving behaviour or illegal activity
5.3 Blackcircles reserves the right to moderate, reject, remove, or disqualify any submission at its sole discretion.
6. Grant of Rights & Content Usage
6.1 By submitting an image, entrants grant Blackcircles a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, worldwide, transferable licence to:
Use, reproduce, edit, adapt, crop, subtitle, dub, combine with other content, and publish the media
Use the image in any media now known or developed in the future
6.2 This licence includes, but is not limited to, use in:
Advertising and paid media
Social media and digital platforms
Website and app content
Email marketing
Public relations and press
Internal communications and presentations
Recruitment and employer branding
6.3 Entrants waive any moral rights they may have in relation to the video, to the extent permitted by law.
6.4 No additional compensation will be provided for the use of submitted content beyond any prize expressly stated.
7. Representations & Warranties
7.1 By entering, entrants confirm that:
They are the sole creator and rights holder of the submitted video
The video does not infringe any third-party rights
They have full authority to grant the rights set out in these Terms & Conditions
7.2 Entrants agree to indemnify Blackcircles against any claims arising from a breach of these warranties.
8. Prizes
8.1 Prize details, including quantity and value, will be clearly stated on the campaign post.
8.2 Prizes:
Are non-transferable
Have no cash alternative
May be substituted with an item of equal or greater value if necessary
8.3 The winners will be notified on social media on 26th February 2026, they must respond via direct message on social media.
8.4 If a winner does not respond to the Promoter within 48 hours of being notified by the Promoter, then the winner’s prize will be forfeited and the Promoter will be entitled to select another winner.
9. Data Protection & Privacy
9.1 Personal data submitted as part of this promotion will be processed by Blackcircles:
For the administration of the promotion
For content moderation and verification
In accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018
9.2 Images and associated personal data may be retained for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined in these Terms & Conditions.

10. Liability
10.1 Blackcircles accepts no responsibility for:
Technical failures
Network or device issues
Lost, delayed, or corrupted submissions
10.2 Nothing in these Terms & Conditions shall exclude or limit Blackcircles’ liability for:
Death or personal injury caused by negligence
Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
Any other liability that cannot be excluded by law
11. Right to Cancel or Amend
11.1 Blackcircles reserves the right to:
Cancel, suspend, or amend the promotion
Modify these Terms & Conditions where necessary due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
12.1 This promotion and these Terms & Conditions are governed by Scots law.
12.2 The courts of Scotland shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
